Burns Film Stoney Nakoda

The Stoney Nakoda Film Project sheds light on the resilience of the Stoney Nakoda people in the face of exclusionary practices following the signing of Treaty 7. It reveals how their culture and customs, once exploited for entertainment in events like Banff Indian Days, the Calgary Stampede, and Hollywood films, are now celebrated and honored. Gary Burns reached out to Jump Studios for the online, color grading and finishing on this inspiring documentary. Check out this before-and-after vignette.
