Are you set for Mother’s Day? greengate Garden Centres has you covered with blooms and plants for Mom! greengate along with agency, Media Calgary Inc, asked Jump Studios to grow their idea for a mall digital billboard ad from a seedling to a full 3D bouquet. The idea bloomed with animation from Jump forcing the perspective to look like the flowers are coming out of the screen. And just like real giant lilies, the result is dramatic and improves any space. (Shout out to Rob Sweetman at 123 West Design for the original design and tag line!) Happy Mother’s Day!

CPKC recently celebrated the opening of the world's first stadium specifically designed for a women's professional sports team. To commemorate this historic moment, CPKC collaborated with Jump to create a full 3D animation of a glass soccer ball that features player image reflections, a locomotive model inside the glass panes, and a bold 3D gold CPKC logo that transforms into the CPKC Stadium logo. This animation plays on the giant LED scoreboard located at the end of the field. Additionally, Jump also designed a 2D ring banner and several still images for display on various screens throughout the stadium.

We are excited to share this Heritage Minute by Historica Canada celebrating the life and legacy of Norman Kwong, the first CFL player of Chinese heritage and 4x Grey Cup winner. After his football career Kwong was part-owner of the Calgary Flames hockey team, and he would become lieutenant-governor of Alberta in 2005. Calgary Co-op brings you the best during the holiday season! C&B Advertising approached Jump for the color correction and finishing on a series of spots for the Co-op Festive campaign. Watch for this spot airing on CTV, Global, CBC and CityTV. Here’s to the holiday spirits!

Post-production is underway on Cree filmmaker Tasha Hubbard’s “Singing Back the Buffalo”, a feature doc following Indigenous visionaries and communities who are rematriating the animal to the North American plains. Jump is honored to be a part of this doc by handling the online edit, color correction, titles and final finishing. What better time of the year than Halloween to dig up this music video from 10 years ago. Videographer Courtenay Forster came to Jump Studios for color correction on this spooky video featuring Corb Lund called “Dig Gravedigger Dig”. Jump gave this video a chilling look to intensify the nocturnal visuals, stumbling zombies and shotgun rampage.

Travel Alberta wants to invite their U.S. audience to experience winter at its best! C&B Advertising approached Jump Studios to collaborate on this campaign called “Sky Painter” which showcases all of Alberta’s winter offerings through a story. Once Jump had the assets in-house the team completed the picture conform and final finishing on multiple spots for cinema and web.

We are proud to share a recent collaboration between Shine Light Entertainment and the Calgary Exhibition and Stampede. Together, we brought the opening show concept to life for the 2025 Calgary Stampede rodeo broadcasts, which aired on Sportsnet in Canada and The Cowboy Channel in the U.S. The opening sequence was crafted using archival rodeo photography and iconic announcements from historic Stampede broadcasts, serving as a tribute to the legacy of The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth. HBO’s Real Sports is coming to an end after 29 seasons! Jump flashes back to 2011 when we were approached by HBO for VFX work on this show. In this short breakdown we will show you how we worked our magic when one of their program hosts departed.

CPKC and Jump Studios teamed up to produce a series of safety message videos to educate the public during Rail Safety Week. In May, 2023, Canadian Pacific (CP) combined with Kansas City Southern to become CPKC. As part of the launch of the new company, Jump Studios was engaged to create a logo animation and 3D map highlighting CPKC’s rail routes. The project included concept design, animation and editing.
